The health insurance sector stands apart from Life or P&C insurance because of its unique model and number of stakeholders. Its challenges are sector specific: a fragmented ecosystem, margin pressures, regulatory uncertainty, and disjointed data access for stakeholders. However digital tools and data analytics appear to be addressing some of these long-time challenges.
While technologies such as RPA, AI, and advanced analytics are acting as levers to enhance both the top-line as well as the bottom-line for health insurers, APIs and emerging InsurTech firms are creating a more streamlined and integrated healthcare ecosystem.
The 2nd Excellence in Health Insurance that was held in Vienna on 15th-16th March, has given a different view and dimension on this sector, with its case studies shared by our distinguished speakers. The first day of this successful event put a spotlight on the latest trends and challenges on health insurance and has identified the opportunities that exist for this sector, also the importance of being digital and innovative and its impact on improving the results of the productivity equation.
Without forgetting the customer centricity, the audience had the chance to hear what their customers really need and figure out why Millennials prefer digital insurers.
The second day of our event, we had the opportunity to hear a case study on digitalization, and how insurtech can help solve patient problems.
The Cyber Security took a place as well during this rich day and has identified the steps that can help insurers to protect their data, and also how to mitigate their risks.
EuroEvents would like to thank all the speakers for their participation and the high quality of their presentations, our partners and the delegates who traveled from afar to join us in Vienna, alongside the beautiful Danube river in Hilton Hotel.
We will be pleased to welcome you all once again, for the 3rd EHI in 2019!
